43/50.- Bamboo, house

This is a typical house in the countryside. As you can see, its rusted tin roof and its blue walls make of this humble construction a unique house.

Most of the people who live here have a piece of land. There is not much work, many Jamaicans complain about this. There are many causes for the high unemployment rate. One of the main causes is the political corruption, another one is the lack of foreign investments. Some young people can only earn money in the illegal activities. One of the productions in the region used to be ganja, but some time ago the hemp plantations were eradicated.
