36/50.- chukka cove, Papillon's Cove

This picture was shot a few yards from the place I shot the previous one. As you can see the sea can be quite wild here.

Remember the film 'papillon', with Steve Mcqueen and Dustin Hoffman? This is where some of its scenes were shot. Since then this rocky cove is also known as Papillon Cove. The cove is owned by the Chukka Cove Farm. If you ask the staff they my let you in. By the way Chukka Cove has some great rooms to rent between the cove and the polo field.
