Priory, Circle B Farm
In Saint Ann's and Saint Mary's parishes are several plantations one can visit. Most of them have a long tradition. Slaves brought from africa used to work in the plantations. Nowadays, people are paid to do the work.
One of the most famous plantations is the Prospect Plantation. It is possible to book a tour of this working farm. From one of its viewpoints it is possible to see the 90 miles away island of Cuba.
The picture on the right was shot in another plantation: the Circle B Farm. This working plantation can also be visited. It sits in Priory, between Saint Ann's and Runaway Bay. The farm organizes tours and parties. Two nice French Canadians run a youth hostel here.
