Negril is a rather young tourist destination. Only 20 years ago this was a off the beaten track destination, where the only accommodation available were the rastafarians huts. Things have changed, and nowadays Negril is one of the main tourist destination in Jamaica. This white sand beach, the crystal clear waters and the incredible sun sets draw tourists from all over the world. Most of them are Americans, but Europeans --mostly Germans-- have also discovered this heaven on earth recently.
