Panajachel is a good place to go shopping. In the streets you will find many vendors who sell the locally wove fabrics, shirts, and hammocks in all imaginable colors. On the right hand side of Avenida Santander you will find a handicraft market.
Closer to the center of Panajachel, you will also find a night club, Pana Rock, with life music. This is the meeting point among foreigners and locals.
