31/37.- Antigua Guatemala, Iglesia de San Agustin

Walking West and then North from San Pedro, you will get to the Church of San Agustin, 4th Street West with 6th Avenue South. The Church is dedicated to Saint Agustin. The building was destroyed by the 18th century earthquakes, and was not restored.

In the area you will find several cheap hotels, which offer basic rooms at very affordable prices. If you are looking for a more upmarket place to stay, you can go to a resort next to San Jose el Viejo, which probably is the best hotel in town.
