17/37.- Antigua Guatemala, Santo Domingo

If you keep walking 3rd street in West direction, you will get to the Carros Street, where you will find the Convento de Santo Domingo.

The convent was founded in 1542, and its church was finished in 1666, but the three 18th century earthquakes destroyed most part of it. Currently the convent hosts a luxury hotel, one of the best in Antigua.
