25.- Fort Lauderdale,Sea Kayak

Many of my students enjoy the ocean water sports, including kayaking and windsurfing. Here you see what a typical blue sky looks like in South Florida. Do you want to jump in that water? It's 28 degrees in July, 22 degrees in February. (Photo: K. Czelusniak).

I was in Fort Lauderdale in 1990m when we voted to pay for shaping the river and rejuvenating our waterway. In 10 years, the performing arts building went up and we put 20,000 bricks with people's names on them. Come to look at the funny stories that are in the bricks. I have one that reads "Seven Lubar Sisters of Milwaukee" and "Jean P. Greer, Your Brick is Here." Lots of fun!
