8.- Fort Lauderdale, Sunset on the river

The New River runs from the Everglades in the west to the Atlantic Ocean in the east. It changed its path many times, making a new path (so the local Indians called it a "new river"). It ends in the Intracoastal Waterway, which runs north-south from New England down to Miami (and around the tip of Florida and north to New Orleans and then on to Texas).
