4/22.- Rincon de la Vieja National Park, tropical tree

In the area of Rincon de la Vieja there are some places to sleep. You will find them on the road that goes to the park's entrance. One of the recommended places is a hotel with swimming pool 10 minutes from the park's gate. This is a rather upmarket hotel, but you can also find cheaper options there.

The national Park of Rincon de la Vieja can only be visited on foot. Next to the ticket office, there is a pulperia (shop), that sells horseback tours. In the nearby hacienda there are two places worth visiting; a nice water fall and a thermal bath. There is a smaller waterfall 15 minutes on foot from the pulperia.
