15/24.- Puerto Viejo, Punta Uva

Punta Uva is one of the beautiful beaches in the area. It is 6 miles south of Puerto Viejo. Here you can spend a relaxing day on the beach. On the road you will find some cabinas.

2 miles south of Punta Uva you have the town of Manzanillo, the best place in the area for snorkeling and diving. The main attractions in Manzanillo, besides its beaches, are the hike to the Monkey Point and the Dolphins boat tour.

Manzanillo is a Wildlife Reserve. It is to one of the beaches in the area, the Gandoca beach, that sea turtles come for nesting.
