2/24.- Puerto Viejo, the town of Puerto Viejo

You can get to Puerto Viejo by road from San Jose, and from the Caribbean town of Limon. There is also a road access from Panama (Bocas del Toro).

The area has no airport. There are many daily public buses from San Jose to Limon and Puerto Viejo. The ride takes around four hours from the capital of Costa Rica.
