29/31.- Crocodiles at the Rio Tarcoles

On the way to or from Manuel Antonio you may want to stop at the Rio Tarcoles, where you can spot big crocodiles like the one in the picture.

You will cross a long bridge where tourists stop to take pictures of these pre-historic creatures. They lie on the river banks during the day to warm themselves. I saw almost a dozen of them.
