National Park of Manuel Antonio, hermit crab
In the Manuel Antonio National Park live
109 species of mammals and
184 species of birds in its five different
habitats: the primary and secondary marine forests, the beach vegetation, the mangrove swamps, and the lagoons.
The animals you will most probably see are the
iguanas, the two-toed and three-toed sloths, the white faced capuchins, the howler monkeys and the crabs.
Other animals you may get to see, if you are lucky, are the white-nosed coatis, the peccaries, the ocelots, the tapirs, the armadillos, the agoutis, the toucans, and the anteaters.
In the picture you can see one of the hermit crabs that live in the sand.
