6/31.- National Park of Manuel Antonio, beach

The park has some marked trails. The one I enjoyed most is the Sendero Punta. The trails will lead you to the beaches inside the park. During your trek you will get to see many wild animals, plants and trees. I spotted many animals, among them: one sloth, black faced monkeys, white faced monkeys, iguanas, butterflies, birds, and coatis.

The Sendero Punta will take you about 3 hours. It is recommended bringing lousy clothes. I could see some tourists doing the treks in bikinis, but I do not think it is appropriate. There are many mosquitoes in the park. You do not need walking boots, sandals are ok, unless it is the rainy season. Watch out for the ants and the spiders!
