2/24.- National Park of Corcovado, trail

The National Park of Corcovado does not have an easy access, and not many tourists get down here.

You can get to Corcovado by road and by plane. The region's airport is close to Sirena, and has flights from San Jose. The access by road is thorough Puerto Jimenez and La Palma, from the east.

There are public buses from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez. The road is very bumpy, and in some parts it can get muddy during the rainy season. Only 4-wheel vehicles should be rented to go to Corcovado.
