women
Here's a typical
view in Cachoeira. The skirt is a traditional Bahian
costume, made from cotton (lace work on the blouse and
the hat). This is typical Sunday garb for going to
Church. Now, if you go to Salvador, there are plenty
of ladies in similar dress who ask you to take their
photographs, for which you press a dollar in their hands.
It's all unreal somehow. But here in Cachoeira, this
woman appears so natural, walking in her formal dress.
