4.- The welcoming committee, Vinicius and Mirian

Vinicius and Mirian run two schools in Feira de Santana, a city of 500,000 people that is northwest from São Felix and Cachoeira. They are shown here on the path that follows the edge of the river. They are typical people of this region: friendly, warm, and a little bored with Feira de Santana! So they come to Cachoeira, which is popular as a weekend visit for people in the surrounding area.
