Natural Park of Ubajara, grotto, stalactites
Each of the rooms inside the cave has a name. Names were inspired by the shapes of the rocks.
The origin of the National Park of Ubajara is in the 1950's, after the visit to the area by a member of the agriculture Department,
David Azambuja, who promised to protect the area's natural heritage. A few years later, on April 30th 1959, the president of the Republic of Brazil signed the bill that approved the creation of the
Parque Nacional de Ubajara.
