23/32.- Natural Park of Ubajara, grotto

The grotto was formed millions of years ago, when the area was below the sea level. When the area emerged out of the sea, waves drilled the rocks. After the formation of the cave, with the passage of time (hundred of thousand of years), lime brought by the water's drops formed the stalagmites and the stalactites.
