São Paulo, Igreja da Luz
One of the things that surprised me about São Paulo was how crowded its streets were. Sao Paulo is one of the biggest cities in the world (some say its metropolitan area is the second biggest on the planet), and this is evident everywhere; especially in the commercial streets in the center. The good thing, is that thanks to its excellent metro network, you can move around very easily.
São Paulo has two main bus stations. Tiete Portuguesa, where you take long distance buses (Rio de Janeiro and other big cities), and Jabaquara (end of line 1), where you take regional buses, mainly to the beaches.
