38/46.- Salvador da Bahia, Barra Beach

Next to the Lighthouse of Barra is the Beach of Barra, which is very popular among foreigners and locals. On the beach you will find Barracas (bars) that sell cold beer, juices and snacks.

If you have one day , you can take a taxi, a bus or a boat to the beautiful neighboring beaches of Praia de Forte and Morro de São Paolo. You can ask for more information on beach excursions in your hotel, in the tourist office, or in any travel agency in downtown Salvador. These beaches are between 50 and 80 km away from the city.
