25/46.- Salvador da Bahia, Carmo church

Nossa Senhora do Carmo Convent and Church is a great religious complex, formed by a church and two cloister convents. The buildings date back to the 17th century. The interior of the church is well worth visiting.

Inside the complex you will find the Carmo's Sacred Art Museum, with the wooden sculpture "Christ tied to the column".
