In this picture you can see the Convento do Carmo. The building currently hosts the first luxury historical Hotel in Brazil. The Convent was originally built in 1586 by the Ordem Primeira dos Freis Carmelitas. Several important events that changed the history of Brazil took place here. After a detailed restoration, Convento do Carmo became one of the best places to stay in Salvador da Bahia.
