22/29.- Praia da Pipa, Praia do Amor

The sun sets quite early in Praia de Pipa (around 17h30), but because Praia de Amor is below a cliff, the sun sets here even sooner (around 15-16h). It is around this time, when the surfing experts will get to this beach to practice their favorite sport. If you want to see how the locals ride the waves, this is a good time to be on the beach.

South of Praia de Amor there are more nice beaches. To get to the other beaches you will have to rent a buggy, though. You will find plenty of travel agencies in the town's main avenue that rent them. You will need a driving license.
