23/37.- Itacaré, downtown

Itacaré, like most small towns in Brazil, is quite a safe place. But as everywhere else in this country, you should follow a few basic rules. The thing to do is leave everything important (credit cards, passports, foreign currency) in your hotel's safe box. You should be very careful with your things while on the beach, and you should never leave them unattended. But apart from that, Itacaré is a place to forget about everything, and enjoy life at its best.
