Next to the fish market there is a small open air market of food and natural medicines. In this market we will find all kinds of traditional remedies, and the famous Guarana in powder. Vendors call it the Brazilian viagra for its energetic properties.

The Guarana powder should be mixed with milk or water in order to get a refreshing shake. Some multinational company markets a soft drink made of guarana, but although the soda is excellent, it has almost nothing to do with the original Amazon drink.
