Elephant Ear
African elephants are said to be an entirely other
species from the Indian elephants. Differences include
(1) African elephants' ears are huge and shaped like the
continent of Africa. Indian elephants' ears are much
smaller and not shaped like the sub-continent of India.
(2) African elephants have two "fingers" at the ends of
their trunks, while Indian elephants have only one. (3)
African elephants' humps are behind their heads, while
Indian elephants humps are right on the tops of their
heads. (4) African elephants are entirely gray, but
Indian elephants sometimes have pink on their head and
ears. Perhaps there are other differences as well.
