12/37.- Ngorongoro, Hippos

Pound for pound, one of the most ferocious bEasts on the planet. The "river horse" likes to hang out in shallow water, but is perfectly capable of walking on the bottom of a pool 12 feet deep. At four feet high and ten feet long, adult hippos are the bulkiest quadrupeds on the planet.
