The culinary offer is Morocco is not very varied. Almost in
every restaurant in Morocco you will find the same dishes. The
most typical are the cous cous, the Tajine and the Moroccan
salad.
The Moroccan salad is a basic salad with tomatoes, onions and
spices. The Tajine is a clay pot used to cook local specialties.
The most popular are the vegetable Tajine, the Beef Tajine and
the Pork tajine. The cous cous is a granular type of pasta,
usually served with meat or vegetables. Most of the foreigners
find the cous cous rather tasteless.
The Moroccan cuisine is famous for the spices used. I can tell
you that if you like spicy food, nowhere else will you enjoy
your meals as in Morocco.
