6/47.- Marrakech, street in the Medina

The first thing you have to do once you get to Marrakech is take a taxi and go to the Medina. Depending on the hour of the day, the taxi will leave you at the same Jema El Fna Square, or in one of the avenues that lead to this square. The taxi ride should cost you very little -- ask your hotel for the price of the ride to Jema El Fna.

Once you have inspected the square, I recommend heading North. Follow the souvenir shops and keep walking along the streets with shops. In this maze of souks you can buy almost everything.
