4/47.- Marrakech, Jema El Fna Square
Jema El Fna Square is one of the most amazing places I have
ever been to. Everything is possible here. Most of the action
starts a couple of hours before sun set. But even during the
hottest hours there is always something going on in this square.
In the picture you can see a traditional physician with its
ancient medicines.
If you want to see the square Jema El Fna at its most, come
here between 7 and 10 pm. At dinner time food stalls take the
central space of the square, and serve grilled food and other
local specialties. Meanwhile, in other parts of the square,
local musicians play music, as always in Morocco as loud as
possible. Local dancers, Henna artists, story and fortune tellers
come also here to entertain locals and foreigners.
