Well my friend, the Photographic Tour to Essaouira is almost over. Now I will give you some tips about how to get in and out of this great place.
The only way to get to Essaouira is by road. There is a road that links Essaouira with Casablanca and another with Marrakech. The easiest way to get here is with a public bus. There are two companies that run air conditioned buses (supratours and CTM). There are several other companies that run non air conditioned buses. Go to the Bus terminal in Marrakech or Casablanca and ask for the buses to Essaouira. If you want to take the air conditioned ones, you will have to go to the CTM or the Supratours Stop (ask a taxi in Casablanca or Marrakech to take you there). The trip to Marrakech takes 3-4 hours, and to Casablanca 6-7.
It is also possible to rent a Grand Taxi to get from/to Casablanca and Marrakech. If there is four or five or you, it won't be much more expensive than a bus.
