25/31.- Essaouira, sun set number 2

If you keep walking south you will get to a place called Bordj el Berod. Not much remains from this old fort. A local legend says Jimi Hendrix's wrote his song "Castles in the Sand" after visiting the place. He actually recorded that song in 1967, two years before his one and only travel to Morocco.

As you can see in the picture sunsets are spectacular. It is a pity that the waters were somewhat cold. It would have been fantastic going for a swim at this moment.
